The Dodson GR6 Promax 13 Plate Clutch Kit is the flagship of the Dodson performance clutch range for the Nissan R35 GT-R GR6 DCT transmission. It supports builds up to 3,400hp. The all-billet design holds extreme torque and heat loads with proven reliability.

Friction Plates and Steels

The kit includes 26 Dodson proprietary friction plates. The A-clutch and B-clutch stacks each carry 13 plates. Every plate uses Dodson high-performance friction material. The result is a higher coefficient of friction and improved heat resistance under load. High-strength, high-carbon, heat-treated steels pair with the plates to deliver consistent clamp force.

Forged Billet Baskets

Forged billet steel A-basket and B-basket reduce distortion under high torque. Induction-hardened splines extend wear life. An integrated bearing at the base of the B-basket adds load support and durability at high engine speeds.

Promax vs Sportsman’s Kits

The Promax kit adds three core upgrades over the Sportsman’s range:

• CNC-machined billet Inner Basket (IBS) for added rigidity and to support the higher plate count in extreme power builds
• Upgraded oil pump drive gear and matched driven gear for improved oil pump durability at elevated rpm
• Billet alloy outer basket encloses the gear-plate circlip and prevents expansion or ejection under heavy load and hard launches

Complete Rebuild Hardware

The kit ships with new clutch pistons, bonded seals, piston shaft seals, spring retainer plates, shims and circlips. Everything you need for a full rebuild is included.
