The Dodson GR6 Sportsman™ 10 Plate Clutch Kit is the performance tier of the Dodson clutch range for the Nissan R35 GT-R GR6 DCT transmission. It supports builds up to 2,000hp. The kit sits between the Sportsman™ 9 and the Promax™ 10 in the Dodson ladder and adds significant holding capacity at a competitive price point.

Friction Plates and Steels

The kit includes 20 Dodson proprietary friction plates. The A-clutch and B-clutch stacks each carry 10 plates. Every plate uses Dodson high-performance friction paper for a higher coefficient of friction and improved heat resistance. High-strength, high-carbon, heat-treated steels pair with the plates to deliver consistent clamp force.

Sportsman™ vs Superstock™ Kits

The Sportsman™ 10 upgrades two core components over the Superstock™ range:

• Forged billet steel A-basket and B-basket replace the OE baskets for reduced distortion under high torque
• Forged aluminum A and B pistons with bonded seals replace the OE pistons, cutting reciprocating weight and improving sealing performance over O-ring type sealing

Forged Steel Baskets

Forged steel A-basket and B-basket reduce distortion under high torque. Induction-hardened splines extend wear life. An integrated bearing at the base of the B-basket adds load support and durability at high rpm.

Rebuild Hardware

The kit ships with new piston shaft seals, spring retainer plates, shims and circlips for installation.
