The Dodson 9 Plate GR6 FWD Clutch Kit (DMS-8505) upgrades the FWD clutch pack inside the GR6 DCT transmission used in the Nissan R35 GT-R. The FWD clutch controls torque transfer from the transmission to the front differential in the all-wheel-drive system.

Plate Configuration

DMS-8505 replaces the factory 6-plate clutch pack with 9 Dodson proprietary high-performance friction plates. The 9-plate configuration delivers approximately 50 percent more friction surface area than OE. The result is improved FWD clutch torque transfer and reliable performance in high-horsepower AWD builds.
