The Dodson 11 Plate GR6 FWD Clutch Kit (DMS-8043) is the high-capacity option for the FWD clutch pack inside the GR6 DCT transmission used in the Nissan R35 GT-R. The FWD clutch controls torque transfer from the transmission to the front differential in the all-wheel-drive system.

Plate Configuration

DMS-8043 replaces the factory 6-plate setup with 11 Dodson proprietary high-performance friction plates. The 11-plate configuration delivers approximately 80 percent more friction surface area than OE. The result is a stronger transfer of torque to the front drivetrain and a reduced risk of clutch slip under load.

11-Plate vs 10-Plate Capacity

The 11-plate configuration adds approximately 10 percent more torque-holding capacity over the Dodson 10-plate upgrade. It suits high-horsepower builds where maximum AWD clutch capacity and reliability are required.
