The Porsche PDK (992 generation) uses two clutch core variations: Short Core and Tall Core. While the external dimensions are identical, the internal height differs and the clutch lids are not interchangeable.
Dodson offers upgraded clutch solutions for both core types, increasing torque capacity while retaining fast shift response and OEM drivability.
Short Core
Accepts a maximum 6-plate Dodson clutch configuration.
Typically used in Carrera, Targa, 4 / 4S / GTS variants and Panamera base / 4 / 4S / GTS models.
Tall Core
Accepts higher-capacity Dodson clutch configurations and is used in higher-output applications.
Typically found in Turbo, Turbo S and selected Panamera Turbo and E-Hybrid models.
Note: 992 GT3 models use the earlier 991 sealed-style clutch (ND2015 2WD).
