Porsche 7DT/997/991

The Porsche PDK (991 generation) uses a factory-sealed 7DT clutch unit. To upgrade the clutch, the original core must be sent to Dodson for machining and modification.

Using our patented CNC process, we remove the permanently sealed OE lid and replace it with a billet removable lid and ring assembly. This increases structural strength, allows higher-capacity clutch configurations, and makes the unit fully serviceable in the future.

Dodson clutch upgrades feature high-strength billet steel inner baskets, high-performance friction materials, tempered steel plates, and increased plate counts over OE to deliver improved torque capacity, heat resistance, and response.

All 991 PDK clutch upgrades are performed at Dodson headquarters in New Zealand and returned ready for installation.
